Resources & Referrals
At Morain & Buckelew, LLC, many of our cases are referred to us by other attorneys. We welcome and encourage the referral of cases from other lawyers, and there can be a variety of reasons to make such a referral. Some attorneys choose not to try cases to a jury. Sometimes, cases become overly complex and a referring attorney needs to find a firm that can handle the volume of work. Other times, co-counsel representation is indicated due to the number of parties involved, or the referring attorney recognizes the need for local counsel with knowledge of judges, defendants’ attorneys, etc. Occasionally, the referring attorney does not wish to, or cannot, represent the client due to financial, personal or other non-legal reasons.
At Morain & Buckelew, we are accomplished litigators with the skill, experience, and wherewithal needed to win complex cases. Our firm is experienced in taking referred cases and working them up for trial. We also pay the referring lawyer in compliance with applicable Bar rules.
If you are a lawyer who would like for us to review a case for possible referral, please contact us. We will happy to look at the case and consider handling it either with you, or – if you so choose – for you.
